Technology Overview
Data Sources and Ingestion
Polarity integrates multiple data sources to construct a comprehensive view of prediction markets:
Polymarket APIs for market metadata, prices, volumes, and resolution states
On-chain data for timestamped market events and outcome finalization
Historical snapshots to enable temporal and comparative analysis
All data ingestion is read-only. Polarity does not submit transactions, place orders, or modify market states.
Data Processing and Analytics Engine
Incoming data is normalized into standardized schemas to enable consistent analysis across markets and time horizons. The analytics engine performs:
Time-series reconstruction of probability movements
Liquidity and volume distribution analysis
Volatility and momentum characterization
Event-aligned market behavior analysis
Outputs are optimized for both visualization and downstream AI interpretation.
AI-Assisted Interpretation Layer
Polarity incorporates AI models exclusively as interpretive and summarization tools. These models operate on processed market data to generate:
Structured natural-language summaries of observed changes
Contextual explanations of market transitions
Identification of anomalous or non-standard patterns
The AI layer does not generate predictions, recommendations, or forward-looking claims. Its outputs are descriptive, probabilistic, and intended to support human reasoning rather than replace it.
Infrastructure and Token Integration
Polarity utilizes Solana for identity, access coordination, and protocol-level signaling via the $POLAR utility token. Token interactions are limited to application-level functions such as feature gating and governance signaling. Core analytics remain accessible without requiring market participation
